title: Our Father
dream: dated
date: 2024-04-27
---

I was in a swanky New York penthouse apartment in the 1970's that had a bubbling gold-accented swimming pool near the balcony which somehow physically restored you upon entering, granting you eternal life after you had signed a contract on an ancient scroll of parchment.

An oldish man was also there and we were apparently good friends. He had shoulder length flowing white hair and a Grecian Gods' physique however he had decided that today was the day that he was going to die. He gave me the contract scroll and made me burn it starting with one of the corners. As it started to burn he excited encouraged me to smoke it like a cigar.

Ultimately he seemed more worried about the joke not quite landing than the onset of his rapid demise.

As I rolled up the thick burning paper and took a couple of pulls from it, the man walked through a billowing curtain onto a balcony and then disappeared before he could make it to the other side as the contract disintergrated in flames.

I was drifting in and out of dreams for a few hours after having broken sleep

I was at my grandads house, trying to help him sell his car. His garage however was more like a gazebo tent, maybe 20 metres long, 10 wide with grass on the floor and white deck chairs scattered around the space.

Part of this process involved trying to turn the engine over but the key was extremely hard to turn and the engine would only splutter a little and never fully engage.

After this I believed I was awake so decided to get up and visit the bathroom, everything feeling real at the time.

As I pulled the cord to turn on the bathroom light nothing happened and I was suddenly excited knowing that I was dreaming so decided to look in the mirror where I saw a nerdy looking woman in her late 20's with short black hair, square framed glasses wearing white underwear looking back at me. In shock, I grabbed my chest and started to exclaim when the light started to flicker, casting the room in a pale green light while a loud reverberating _wuub~wuuub~wuuuub_ noise started before I really woke up.

I was at a holiday park type complex in the lake district with my girlfriend, friend and his girlfriend. <!-- CP JH KS --> We'd been to a music gig featuring a German band to celebrate some kind of political event and we'd danced and later made love.

Later on I was trying to find our room however the building was laid out strangely and I'd already entered one room where I'd entered and needed to apologise to a confused looking woman.

While wandering around I ended up seeing a large group of people with bulldogs who were encouraging them to shit on a golf course. It got later and later and I still couldn't find anybody and I couldn't ring anybody as my phone was in our hotel room. \ No newline at end of file

title: Toilet quest
dream: dated
date: 2024-08-03
---

I was attending a training course at a large business park with 40+ units however none of them seemed to have any bathrooms, or ones that did seemed to charge an admission fee of about £10 which I found extortionate.

While continuing to look, I visited a small Tesco express to pick up some 9v batteries, I picked up 2 packs then asked a member of staff if there were any bathrooms for customers. She said no, however told me there was a bathroom in unit 30. I made my way there however when I got there it was another paid stall that I'd already tried earlier in the day.

While walking away from unit 30 I saw a strange black door with a small sign reading 'Tactical'. A woman in body armour came through the door and I tried to catch it but didn't want to make it seem too obvious and missed the timing so it closed with a loud clunk. I kicked the door and noticed it moved a little. Through kicking it more, and trying the handle I was able to loosen the latch and finally let myself in. Inside was just a single room with a urinal that I started walking towards, however before I got there another woman in body armour yelled at me and started arguing about how if everyone abused the system nobody would have anything. I apologised, and moved on.

Eventually I reached another supermarket surrounded by trees and dry grass, in the lot there were about 20 camper vans parked up. This supermarket had a single male and female toilet that were both in use and with queues so I knew I'd be there a while. I got into the queue with my girlfriend and we were approached by a hippie looking woman with a dog that we were both stroking and fussing with.

Eventually as the sun began to set I reached the end of the queue and entered the bathroom. Inside the floor was covered in patches of a thick dark liquid, and for some reason I didn't want to get my boots dirty so took them off where I wearing thick white socks underneath. I tried stepping around the patches of liquid but couldn't avoid them all and as it soaked into the socks it turned a dark red colour.

title: Terror tractor
dream: dated
date: 2024-08-04

I was eating a meal with my family at a large brick pub in Doncaster. Outside there was a bit of a commotion going on with police cars parked up and stopped traffic. It was all surrounding a young woman driving a blue tractor who had stopped in the middle of a road junction with cars all slowly diverting around her.

There were multiple police offers around the tractor, trying to talk to the woman. My mum turned to me and said that this kind of thing had been happening more and more often these days and then the tractor took off, confronting a row of cars at the junction before running over the drivers side of 3 vehicles while the drivers scrambled around trying and failing to get out of their vehicles. \ No newline at end of file

title: Omelette flight
dream: dated
date: 2024-08-10

I was in a small desert town called San Antonio, but this place was on the border between Nevada and California, near Reno. I'd arrived there with friends via a small plane but then I was travelling to L.A. for some reason.

I was in a state of confusion and panicky. I had no idea when my flight was, where my tickets were or how the airport was even laid out. I knew I had a good few hours to kill however so went to a restaurant that was closed, the chef saw me try the door and cooked me an omelette so long as I helped him to do it. He was asking for a load of different and unusual herbs from a rotating rack on a counter however there was no order and some of the herbs I'd never even heard of before.

As I was eating, we started chatting and I explained my situation. The chef got out his phone to check which flights were happening between my location and LAX and saw it was only about 280 miles (it isn't) in pretty much a straight line so just suggested walking it or hiring a car if I'd already missed my plane. \ No newline at end of file

dream: dated

I was going through a carboard box if old things in my attic (that my house doesn't have) where I found a small statue of a reindeer with long flowing antlers and a mechanical system that extended the antlers out even more by using part of an antler as a winch.

I'd given it to one of my friends who had told me he'd had wild dreams when you slept near it, with candles lit, so I visited his house to try this out. We winched the antlers to full length and I went to sleep in a small single bed with white bedding. I woke with my girlfriend beside me, shaking me awake saying we needed to leave right now.

It was raining and we were running through back streets looking for a place to get out of the rain. We ran past her workplace but her keycard wouldn't let her in over the weekend. We continued running and ended up at a school building that she knew and we entered a side door where a load of kids were there who'd also used the building to get away from the now torrential downpour.

title: Blowpipe funeral
dream: dated

I was in a hall with other people milling around before some kind of a party started. I didn't know at the time however it ended up being a funeral for an old lady I didn't know either. This detail was only revealed when a large white cloth covering her portrait was ceremonially dropped. I was then given a heavy piece of green painted metal and a scraggy looking pillow with an embroidered cat on it for no real reason.

I left the hall where it was dark outside and walked onto a street. I saw a few friends of mine from high school where one <!-- BA --> had lit a cigarillo, was dressed in a trendy way but acting aloof. I spoke with a few other people I knew but only very briefly.

Then another one of my friends from high school <!-- JS --> was sat down cross legged on a flat roof by the side of the road and started throwing down old balls that had become stuck on the roof much to the delight of the crowd in the road.

After this he started throwing pieces of metal into the crowd but seemed to be aiming for me specifically all while a Marilyn Manson-esque song played that had "don't become a welder" as the chorus before he used one of the pieces of the metal as a blowpipe and started shooting white paintballs at me with it. \ No newline at end of file

I'd just arrived back from a week long holiday with my girlfriend. We were unloading the car and moving everythin from it back into the house. There was no space on the side of the road where the house was, so I was crossing the road for every trip.

The speed limit on the road was 30 mph and as I was carry the final piece, a pink suitcase across the road a white truck driving towards me seemed to speed up with me almost not making it across the road.

I mouthed towards the driver "slow down!". As he passed me, he slowed down to a complete stop, then wound down his window, then angrily asked me "what did you say me?". "Slow down" I replied.
